The FCW U10 Academy team has an incredible love for the game! While young, this group of athletes have been playing together for quite some time, which has allowed them to establish a great bond on and off the field. Even during the spring when they were unable to train together, they found ways to challenge each other and interact virtually.
On the field, the players have taken big strides in the attacking moment by using their space well (individually and collectively) and moving the ball quickly. This fearless group loves the challenge of a 1v1 situation and welcomes the competition from their teammates in practice and opponents. You won’t see them without the ball for long, as their quick transition to defend, and willingness to put in a hard tackle allows them to win the ball back swiftly.
Off the field, this group doesn’t stop laughing. They have hilarious nicknames for each other and if they aren’t challenging each other to soccer duels after practice they are typically dancing or goofing around in the cattails near the field.
If you want to catch a glimpse of this group, make your way to Milwaukee Sport club fields on October 10th for their 9:00 AM game, or at the FC Wisconsin home fields in Germantown on October 11th at 2:00 PM!
