August 2nd was the first day that college soccer players were allowed to report for the 2016 NCAA college season, and on that day dozens of FC Wisconsin girls players were on campuses ready to begin. The 2016 NCAA college season will see more than 40 FC Wisconsin girls alums taking the field for colleges all over the country.
"We are exceptionally proud of our club's track record helping committed athletes realize their dreams of playing college soccer," said Director of Coaching Christian Lavers. "Our first focus every day of training is the long-term development, opportunity and success of these players, and it shows in how many players the club has helped reach their potential and become collegiate student-athletes."
The 2016 season will see 12 new FC Wisconsin alums joining their predecessors in college soccer. In total, 41 athletes at 26 different schools will be on the field this fall. These alums, grouped by school, are listed below:
In-State: (By Number of Players)
