From December 19-20, FC Wisconsin players and families held a 24-hour TOY DRIVE for Children's Hospital, and to share some of the blessings of the year with those in need.
The toy drive benefited the Children’s Community Services division of Children’s Hospital, the division coordinating adoptions, foster care, and working predominantly with impoverished families in the Milwaukee community. The toys were delivered on Thursday, December 21, arriving just in time for a Christmas delivery! At the time of the delivery, the Community Services division was completely out of toys, so the gifts brought huge joy to the staff, the club players, and were a Christmas blessing for many, many children. The toys were primarily developmental toys for infants and toddlers - focusing on the primary age of the children served by Community Services.
Thank you to all of the FC Wisconsin families that donated a toy to provide some happiness to another child at this wonderful time of the year. Your act of kindness made a difference!
