FC Wisconsin's Aryssa Mahrt Attends U14 US Soccer National Team Camp

From March 19 - March 26, FC Wisconsin player Aryssa Mahrt was one of 36 players from across the country invited to the US Soccer Under-14 Youth National Team Camp in Los Angeles, CA.

Mahrt's performances in ECNL games this fall led to her invitation to the the US Club Soccer id2 Program Training Camp this December, and both played a role in the invitation to the first national team camp for the 2002 birth year.

Mahrt is the second player from FC Wisconsin invited to a youth national team camp in the past 6 months.  (FC Wisconsin goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer was invited to an Under-19 national team camp this fall).

"Our club's mission is to help every player maximize their potential as athletes and people," said Director Christian Lavers.  "It is a great achievement when any player is invited into a national team, but it is just one more step in the long journey of becoming the best player they can be."

FC Wisconsin has a strong, and growing, record of developing youth national team players.  For a full list of players from the club that have worn a USA jersey, click here.
