FC Wisconsin Eclipse Alums Making Impact in College Pre-Season

FC Wisconsin Eclipse alumni are making an impact in college soccer all over the Midwest - making their presence felt in the pre-season, and even against each other in exhibition matches!  No club in Wisconsin has more players in NCAA women's soccer.

Marquette vs. UW-Madison

On  August 15, the annual exhibition between the Golden Eagles and Badgers featured 8 different FC Wisconsin Eclipse alumni on the field!  For Marquette, Mady Vicker scored the lone goal, while Katie Hishmeh was a senior captain.  IN addition, Ashley Stemmeler and Jacie Jermier played prominent roles in the game.  For the Badgers, McKenna Meuer scored once, Cara Walls had a goal and an assist, and Carly Vogel and Holly Heckendorf also contributed to the 5-1 win.

Loyola vs. Valparaiso

On August 18, four FC Wisconsin Eclipse alumni featured in Loyola's 1-0 win over Valparaiso.  Mariah Vichich, Monica Gonyo, and Valerie Gonyo all started for Loyola, while Allegra Godfrey featured for Valparaiso.  Godfrey also faced off against another former teammate when Valparaiso dropped a 4-3 decision to Jackie Wandt and Northern Illinois University on Friday.
