FC WI Eclipse Heads to ECNL Play-Offs in Seattle

U16 and U17 Team will Compete in Top Female Soccer Event in US

From June 25-30, the FC Wisconsin Eclipse U16 and U17 teams will be at 60 Acres Park in Redmond, WA competing at the ECNL Play-Offs - the top youth female soccer competition in the country.

For the second straight year, the U16s will be competing in the North American Cup - a 16 team knock-out cup competition.  As the 11th seed in the bracket, the team will face #6 seed and Mid-Atlantic Conference power Ohio Elite Soccer Academy in the opening game at 1:00 PM.  For the full U16 North American Cup bracket click here.  

The U17s will be competing in the Showcase Flight - another 16 team knock-out competition.  Also an 11-seed, the U17s will be facing NC Fusion from the Mid-Atlantic Conference at 9:00 AM.  For the full U17 Showcase bracket click here.  

The ECNL Play-Offs are the biggest recruiting event in the country, and will have scouts from almost every Division I college in the country watching the country's very best all in one location.  For more on the competition at the event, click here.  Spots in the ECNL Play-Offs are earned through grueling ECNL Conference and National Event competition throughout the year.  The top teams in the country qualify for the 32 team ECNL Champions League Play-Off bracket - dominated by the biggest names in club soccer, with the next best 16 teams in the country qualifying for the ECNL North American Cup bracket.  The final competition bracket at the ECNL Play-Offs is the ECNL Showcase Bracket, featuring the next best 16 teams.  Teams that do not qualify for the Showcase bracket ended their season at the end of the regular-season.  

After the ECNL Play-Offs FC WI Eclipse teams will shut down for the month of July, before pre-season training begins in early August and a new season begins!
