Unprecedented Achievement in Wisconsin History

3 Collegiate All-Americans in 2019 Season!

In an unprecedented accomplishment in Wisconsin soccer history, FC Wisconsin had 3 players earn collegiate All-American honors in the 2019 Division I season:

  • Jordyn Bloomer - United Soccer Coaches All-American First Team
  • Dani Rhodes - United Soccer Coaches All-American Second Team
  • Kate Del Fava - CoSIDA Academic All-American and Player of the Year

These individual honors cap incredible seasons for all of these players and their teams.  Wisconsin, led by Bloomer (jr), Rhodes (sr), captain Payton Wesley (sr), and All-Freshman Team honoree Emma Jaskaniec (fr) claimed their first outright Big Ten Conference regular season championship.  Bloomer and Rhodes were also earned United Soccer Coaches All-North Region First Team honors, among many other Big 10 weekly honors throughout the season.

Kate Del Fava capped her career earning just about every award possible in the Missouri Valley Conference and in college soccer.  On top of her All-American honors, Del Fava earned United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Region First Team honors, as well as Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year, Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Missouri Valley All-Tournament Team honors.

"We are exceptionally proud of the accomplishments of these three players, and it is an incredible testament to their work and commitment for many years," said Director Christian Lavers.  "True player development shows in long-term performance, and the achievements of these players, as well as so many other of our alums, speaks volumes about the environment at FC Wisconsin."
